We Care Senior Living Advisors was launched in early 2022 with the goal of providing older residents in our communities a best-in-class senior placement advising experience that takes into account the health, psychological, cognitive, and social needs of a client to find them their perfect senior community to call home. Through We Care’s enhanced intake process, clients and their families can feel confident that any recommended senior communities will provide an appropriate level of care and service for that resident.
Eric Freitag, PsyD.
President/Founder
Dr. Freitag is a licensed psychologist, board-certified neuropsychologist, and certified emergency medical technician with over 16 years of experience evaluating and treating patients with dementia, mild cognitive impairment, stroke, and other neuromedical conditions.
Dr. Freitag continues to operate a successful private neuropsychology practice in Walnut Creek. During this time, he has traveled throughout the Bay Area to numerous assisted living, board and care, memory care, and skilled nursing communities to provide clinical services. This has afforded him the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about the care and operations of the senior communities in our region.
Dr. Freitag is proud to be highly engaged in the community where he both works and lives. He has provided numerous educational presentations on dementia care and brain health. He has served on various boards including Meal on Wheels-Diablo Region, Walnut Creek Police Chief Advisory Board, Walnut Creek Surf Soccer Club Executive Board, and is currently serving as the City of Walnut Creek commissioner on the Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging.
