Our Approach
How we work to find the best senior community for you!
We Care services are provided at no cost to the senior and families. Please review the FAQ section of this website for further information.
Step 1: Contact We Care for a no-obligation consultation. During this conversation (phone or Zoom), we will discuss what sort of support you may need and how We Care can help.
Step 2: If applicable, a more in-depth follow-up appointment and intake will be scheduled. During this appointment, we will evaluate the specific needs and preferences of the potential resident and family. We will discuss preferred amenities, geographic area, budget, and other factors to aid in refining the search for the perfect community.
Step 3: Based on our insider knowledge of the facilities within the preferred geographic area which includes: an in-depth interview of relevant staff and/or administrator, in-person site visit and evaluation, review of current licensing reports, and online research (e.g. social media, Google reviews, etc.), we will cultivate a list of communities that will meet the needs of the potential resident.
Step 4: A personable and knowledgeable We Care advisor will accompany the senior and family to visit and evaluate the selected communities. Your advisor will be with you every step of the way, to provide support and feedback and/or ask pertinent questions during the visits to make the most of the experience. If additional, in-depth second visits to preferred communities are desired (i.e. during meals, activities, etc), We Care will work to facilitate and schedule such visits.
Step 5: Once a community is selected, we will work with the senior and family to support the transition process. This may include referrals to senior moving specialists, real estate professionals, geriatric care managers, and other reputable senior support professionals.
Step 6: Enjoy your new home and community! We Care will check in with you at regular intervals in the days and weeks following your move to ensure a successful transition.
